What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday ~ 255

Here we all are again, gathering at Julia’s (hope she has enough chairs and cups!) for our weekly desk hopping extravaganza.

I’ve been a busy bee over the 3 day Easter weekend, which included a bit of gardening, a bit of knitting, a bit of sitting in the sun and a bit of time at my desk.  And talking of my desk, here it is…

First off, you might spot at the back that I did indeed manage to label up my Distress Inks with the fancy labels I printed off and had on my desk last week, and I think they look mighty fine too!  I popped the spare colours for the inks that I don’t have in a a very small, clear plastic ziploc baggy and stuck it to the side of the ink tin.  On to the desk, exciting stuff first, at the bottom left is a candy win from the lovely ladies at Jingle Belles challenge blog.  The incredibly generous package included a large pack of vintage papers, a set of stamps, a pack of ribbon and twine and a big pack of die cut shapes, and of course, everything is Christmas related.   Another candy win in the form of a Lili of the Valley stamp is on top of the tin of Prisma’s, unfortunately it’s a stamp that I already have so it will probably go on ebay.  As to the desk I’m busy constructing something but I moved that bit off my desk because I can’t show it to you yet.  What’s left is all the stuff I’m thinking of decorating it with, flowers, stick pins, a stamped PB image ready to be cut out with some Spellbinders.  At the back are some pink scraps and some bits that were not used on other projects that I might be able to use on this one.

So that’s me for this week, I’ll be seeing you when I see you!!

  1. Sounds like a good easter weekend but no chocolate? Well done for labelling – looks colourful. I will check Julia before I go to bed x

  2. Congrats on the candy, I’m sure you can find a way to PIF the duplicate, nice buns indeed, and thanks for the reminder of those labels to print. I typed and printed mine and swiped the ink but they seem to have faded a lot so maybe time for new one!

    Happy WOYWW!

  4. Blimey, is it really nearly a year since we met up?! That’s unbelievable…it only seems like yesterday! That was a lovely day indeed, full of fun :-)
Congrats on the wonderful bits and pieces you’ve been winning…lucky you. I bet you’ll have fun with them. And I’m glad you took time to sit in the sun…so did I and it was fab!
    Hugs, LLJ 14 xx

  5. Ah, so the dies aren’t actually new..you store them in their packaging. Well of course you do. Silly me! Yep, the sight of those inkpads with their coloured labels makes me smile too – on two levels..ironically at your tidiness and of course, the colours just look fab all stacked together! Very glad to read that you’ve been having a bit of warm sunshine, was horrified to read last week that you were plunged back into snow!

  6. Well done for putting coloured labels on the Distress ink, what an absolutely brilliant idea. If mine were stored in a way that I could do that I might just follow your example. And you got goodies from Jingle Belles, well done you.

  8. Love those coloured labels, Brenda – great idea – need to do something with mine, as they are – admittedly, very neatly – just stored in a big box – yes, out of sight! What lovely prizes you have to show us – well done.
Thanks for visiting this week already – and for your kind comments re John. The medics have started him on a course of intravenous antibiotics for a massive chest infection – so hope that has an effect. Still not sure whether this is causing the pain, but he reckons that is a little better.
    Have a great week.

    Hugs Eliza & Yoda 28
    Happy WOYWW
