Winter that is.  I just checked the weather forecast (wish I hadn’t!) and found this for tonight and tomorrow:

“A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM EST THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD THE AREA THIS EVENING…CONTINUING OVERNIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING. THE SNOW MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES… WITH NORTHERLY WIND GUSTS OF 20 TO 30 MPH DURING TUESDAY POSSIBLY LEADING TO BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION AROUND 4 INCHES IS EXPECTED…WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF TO SCATTERED LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS OR FLURRIES BY EARLY TUESDAY EVENING. LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO TRACK ALONG THE OHIO RIVER TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING. HOWEVER…THE STRENGTH OF THE SYSTEM STILL IS A BIT IN QUESTION…WHICH WILL DETERMINE OVERALL SNOWFALL.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW… SLEET…OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.”
