I honestly thought I’d missed the boat with this one, until the lovely Angela from Toucan Scraps pointed out to me that this was a two week challenge so I still had time to enter!  So, the challenge over at ABC Christmas for this last fortnight id “G For Glitz”, with the optional extra of using silver if you want to.

I decided to go almost all digital in honour of Angela sponsoring the challenge this fortnight, she has a digital shop where you can buy her lovely designs and papers, plus she puts some freebies on her personal blog from time to time too.  The backing papers were free downloads from Digital Crea (there’s a link to them on my Free Digital Resources page), and the sweet image was a freebie from Pollycraft, I think she’s called Cherry Snowball Kisses.  I haven’t linked Pollycrafts yet, but I will certainly be adding them to my second page soon.

Here’s the card:

I glittered it to within an inch of its life!  I ran a glue pen around the edge of each piece of paper and then sprinkled on some fine MS glitter.  I coloured the image with  pencils and a liberal amount of Stickles glitter glue, and then added more sparkle to the snowball.  The three snowflakes on the right were punched from glitter paper with a MS snowflake punch, and the large snowflake on the left I found in my stash!  The plain and snowflake gems were from Michaels, and the die cut shape and the Let It Snow rub on were both from a The Paper Company Studio pack.
