I’ve had this lovely stamp on my desk for quite a while and wasn’t sure what to do with it…. then I coloured some paper with Distress Inks and stamped over the top of it, and put it to one side!  Last night I pulled it back out and decided on a vintagey kind of theme, mainly inspired by the gorgeous Die Cuts With A View Christmas paper from last year.  I bought this stack in the sale in January of this year and have really enjoyed playing about with it in recent weeks.  Absolutely love that Scandinavian inspired, vintagey snowflake look of the backing paper.

Although the stamp is a collage type, I decided to leave it as just one layer.  The greeting is actually a rub on, and you can’t have a vintage looking card with out a bit of lace, some string and a few buttons now can you!  The photos have also come out rather well, but more on that on Wednesday for What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday… you just might be surprised at what’s on mine!!
