Haven’t made a card all week so badly wanted to rectify that! Penny Black Saturday Challenge provided a wonderful sketch this week and Bah Humbug wanted to see something that was Lovely In Lilac, so I decided to combine the two of them.

The image is PB Snowy, perhaps the most used snowman ever in the history of the world!  But he is so cute!  I water coloured his scarf with Memento Lilac Posies, and the hat with Lilac Posies and Timmy Boy Victorian Velvet, and then covered it all with Martha Fine Glitter.  There’s a few of the star offcuts from a border punch too, and a bit of Frosted Lace and Cinnamon Stickles to finish Snowy off.  The background was created with Bazzil card and a large Stampabilities Snowflake border stamp and some Rubber Stampede ink.

There’s another strip of Bazzil across the middle, edged with a Martha punch and decorated with a few pearls.  The sentiment stamp was out of the $ bin at Michaels and is stamped in ColourBox Q Royal Silk pigment ink, mounted on Bazzil and finished off with one of the little pearls.  The flowers are Prima.
