Happy Monday folks!  I got a lot of cards made over the weekend as it was quite thundery on Saturday and then wet and rainy for the most part on Sunday.  A wet weekend in August around here is about as rare as a sunny and dry one in the UK!  Perfect crafting weather though and I really enjoyed my quiet time.

PBSC have a challenge this week of Touchy Feely.  Make something with texture, embossing, ribbon, felt etc, or in my case, fun foam and flocking powder!  Well, it sounded like such a good idea at the time, but you know how these great ideas normally turn out, don’t you?  Take a look at this:

The first thing you’ll probably spot is the LO is definitely a bit off, the central image should have been placed further to the left but I went and stuck it down.  Oh well, it’s PB Lazy Days and I water coloured it with a combination of DI’s and Memento inks.  The centre of the daisy had a liberal coating of Yellow Stickles and when that was dry a liberal coating of Glossy Accents too.  The dark green around the base of the deck chair is the flocking powder for some texture.  The papers are DCWV and the blue matting pieces are Bazzil card, the sentiment was a digital freebie from Sentiments 4 You.  Two strips of pretty ribbon and some flowers punched from self adhesive fun foam using an EKSuccess punch.  I think I need to add a bow or something to the left of the image which will really help balance it up properly.  Still, it was a fun card to make, especially those foam flowers.
