The lovely Chrissie and Mandi at Less Is More have tasked us with silhouettes this week. Oddly enough I’d gone through my “not new but never seen ink” stamps and had this Hero Arts Collage stamp sitting on my desk with the intention of doing something with it this weekend. It has some silhouetted shapes within the stamp so I hope that qualifies.
The LO is really simple and it’s one I use a lot, it works so well for all manner of card types.
I stamped the image in Versamagic Jumbo Java chalk ink and clear embossed, then stamped the text part again in Stampology Rouge, cut it out and stuck it over the original. The backing piece is a scrap of chocolate Bazzil punched with a Martha Stewart punch and the ribbon is from Michaels. The card was made from an offcut of JoAnn kraft card, thinking about it, the whole card is out of the scrap box this time!
Card Recipe:
- Card: Kraft from JoAnn ~ Chocolate Bazzil ~ The Paper Company White card
- Stamp: Collage Merry & Bright
- Inks: Versamagic Jumbo Java ~ Stampology Rouge
- Embellies: Ribbon from Michaels ~ Clear EP from JoAnn
- Tools: Heat Gun ~ Martha Stewart border punch
