Hello All, hope your weekend is going well. I’m in my happy place aka my craftroom today so you know I’m having a good time! I’m also back to making my favourite thing on the planet, a Christmas card! Would you believe I’m behind so far this year compared to others, but there’s plenty of time to rectify that. Famous last words, lol!

Do you like my little cutie? He’s called Milton with Poinsettia from Wild Rose Studios, although I’m exercising a little artistic liberty and colouring with flower blue instead of the more traditional red. I water coloured the image with distress inks, adding glossy accents to the flower centre and dropping in tiny blue seed beads, plus a sprinkling of glitter too. I added a snowflake brad before mounting onto scraps of blue and white card. All of the paper and card used was from the scrap box, including the water colour card Milton was stamped on, really trying hard to use up the bits! The plaid pattern is from a really old DCWV Christmas Stack and the silvery blue snowflake paper from a free download from somewhere ages ago. All paper and white card was edged with DI Tumbled Glass.

I made some bunting with buttons, embroidery floss, punched out snowflakes and a few gems. The sentiment is from a clear Penny Black set, cut out with a McGill tag punch and tied to the ribbon with some more embroidery floss. The LO is based on this sketch at Sketch And Stash, I wanted to make a gatefold card and this sketch worked particularly well for that:
