Just a quick WOYWW from me this week I’m afraid, lots going on right now! I’m spending my lunch breaks this week with a bunch of peeps from work who are meeting in a large conference room to make “no-sew” fleece blankets for a charity called Project Linus that we’re supporting at work. I’ve linked the charity’s name if you’d like to read about it.
On the desk front I’ve still been spending my happy time in my room, and the desk belies the actual amount of cards and creativity going on I can tell you! I’m liking the new LO of the room and I’m really enjoying keeping it clean and tidy, one of the biggest changes was getting the boxes of scraps off the desk. They’re still within reach but are no longer spilling all over the desk and driving me crazy.
The large box on the desk is full of Christmas stamps, this is almost completely full and represents about half of the Christmas stamps that I have! The House Mouse, Penny Black and Hero Arts ones live in the stamp cabinet. There’s a card in the making on the desk, with a few stamps on show and a large mug containing water. And that, quite frankly, is that, lol!
I have a couple of milestone birthdays coming up soon that I have to crack on and make cards for, a fiftieth and a sixtieth, both male too. And thanks for the flower love last week, I posted a tutorial on how to make those paper tissue flowers if you’re interested.
All that remains is for me to tell you about the fine print, in other words, head on over to Julia’s at The Stamping Ground for the weekly link party blog hop that we do. It’s about as much fun as I can stand in a week I tell ya!!

Love your jar of itty bitty pads (have lots of those little ones too and love them). Wishing you success wit the projects – I’ve got deadlines to slay too!

What a fab idea that Project Linus is – hope many blankets are put their way. I’m knitting wrist warmers and hats for Wrap up a Kid, a charity that Jackie, a fellow WoyWWer pointed me in the direction of. I like knitting small things as they get finished so much quicker and it gives my hands something to do when the tv is on!
That box on your desk is rather gorgeous, I could happily live with that – love the colours and patterns! The little bottles full of sparkly goodness on your shelves are rather fab too. You can never have too much bling, in my opinion…. 🙂

The card in the making is very pretty, you really are on a roll..specially the Christmas stuff! Amazing isn’t how one change around can have you feeling so settled…Im still wrestling with clear stamps, but otherwise, feel quite embedded with my desk layout. Although of course, it makes you shiver to contemplate what I call organization!!

My, that certainly is being kept tidy Brenda!
I always start out with the intention of keeping things tidy and I swear that as soon as I put something back in its place there’s naughty fairies that put them back on the table as soon as my back’s turned, Lol.
Is that a set of Tapestry stamps I see there. I used to use mine all the time but they don’t often see the light of day now….I must use them more.
Happy Crafting!
