Afternoon all. Quick post from me today, lots of things to do, not much time to do them in! But I did take a peek at Less Is More this morning to see if I could fit in a card today. They want stripes and single layer. Hhm, not easy. I came up with this which I have no clue if it meets the theme! My thinking is that the vertical cattails look like stripes to me, let’s see if they do to you, lol!
I made a mask by cutting out a large circle from scrap paper and placing it over the card. I inked up with Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and a little bit of Vintage Photo around the edge. First time I’ve ever tried this actually. The wonderful stamp is Memory Box Cattail Birds and I inked it with Versamagic Eggplant. The sentiment is from a Penny Black clear set and is also inked with the Eggplant.
Let me know what you think. Now I see it on here I wonder if the kraft card was wrong for the base? Or would the circle have looked better in a different colour?
