Can you believe that this is my first foray into Lili of the Valley Stamps?! I know, totally shocking isn’t it. Problem is, I think I’m hooked now! Hhm, what’s that website address then???
I made this little card for a few challenges, list at the bottom as usual, but I really did kick myself, I was so busy colouring and cutting and embossing and sticking that I totally forgot to leave room for the lovely sentiment I had picked out, it’s going to have to go on the inside now, and it was so bloody perfect for the card, lol!

The card base is actually a lovely pink, not this odd reddish/orange colour. The DP is all MME, free with a card magazine, and they were all in the scrap box too. The image was water coloured with Marcy Uchida marker pens and some Fiskars glitter pens used for a little detail and shine; it was cut out with a Nestie and matted on to some bright pink bazzil card. I used a glue pen around the embossed edge of the stamped panel and dipped it in Martha Stewart fine glitter. The pink circle was embossed with a Crafts Concept embossing folder, and that was stuck to a scalloped circle from more MME paper. The little butterflies are cut from a DCWV Christmas Glitter Paper that I’d previously used to die cut out a Memory Box Christmas Tree die, the butterfly die is also Memory Box.

The bow was made on the Bow Easy with some organza ribbon that was in a candy win, a few pearls from Michaels were dotted around and a bit of doodling on the paper finished it off. Just wish I could have gotten that sentiment on the front! It says “Make A Wish” in beautiful swirly letters!

Wow Brenda, I totally adore this card! LOTV stamp at its best I think – beautifully coloured and a stunning result. You can try a pogo stick – but watch that duck pond 🙂 Di xx
Love the colours Brenda and the faux stitching round the edge finishes it off a treat.

Have a fab Sunday, luv Karen xx
Hey Miss Brenda! You just cannot beat LOTV for making ultra sweet cards and your card does not disappoint. Really neat coloring – I have not tried this yet with the Marvey pens. I just hate it when the picture does not show the true colors. Pink and green always look great together and I love the design of your card!
Sandy

lovely indeed Brenda have loved them forever but never time to use them and yes so annoying when colours dont look like they really are! Shaz in oz.x
PS may play this week at WOYWW not sure – am soo busy and I just dont have time to comment like I should so that is why I dont play…
That is such a pretty card, and I would not worry about having to put the sentiment inside. the front is perfect as it is anyway. Thank you for your visit this week. Our garden has been chemical free for over 30 years now, and generally the pests are taken care of by the friendly insect and birds. Hopefully, with a lot more insect friendly plants, that should be even better, apart from being pretty. xx Maggie
Awww Brenda . . . this is totally gorgeous. What a shame about your sentiment, but at least you get to use it on the inside, so all is not lost! Love the colour scheme too.
I’m keeping an eye out in case you bounce a bit close to me on that pogo stick! xxxx
I too love LOTV but don’t have many – I also have those papers – they were sooooo fab – love the card
