Well, it’s not really, in fact it’s way above normal and raining today but never mind, we can pretend it’s cold outside. This is the card that was on my desk yesterday for What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday in all it’s snippety glory, and here it is today, all put together and finished. I followed the latest LO on Christmas Challenges {With Sketches}, and they have an added twist of Baby It’s Cold Outside, so I turned to my ice skating Kraftin’ Kimmie stamp which was new at Christmas, because you can’t ice skate unless it’s cold outside now can you?

I water coloured the image with Marvy Brush Stroke Markers in shades of blue and green adding both flocking powder and glitter glue to the trim of her dress and the ear muffs she’s wearing, before cutting her out with a Nestie die. Once again the paper is all digital and is out of the scrap box. The blue snowflake backing piece is from Mad About Cards and the other two are from Shabby Princess (I think!). Everything is edged with scraps of red card too. The central strip was punched with an EKSuccess punch and is actually navy, not black. The ribbon was around a Christmas gift I was given at work, Martha Stewart snowflakes punched from scrap card, button and ribbon scrap from stash.

The swirl is a Sizzix die cut from glitter card, and the flowers and sentiment are both from Recollections. This last photo is also the best representation of colour too.
