Pinch, punch first of the month.  Wow, July already, although it’s felt like July round here since the beginning of June with super hot temperatures and almost no rain to speak of, really hope we’re not heading for watering restrictions!  Still, all the lovely flowers in pots and tubs on my deck are looking wonderful, even if I do have to water them twice a day at the moment, they’re all worth it.

Allsorts have a theme of In Bloom this week and want to see flowers on your card, and Sketch Saturday have a great sketch to work from this week, so I combined the two and came up with this:

All nice and pink and summery.  Both papers are Raspberry Road, the larger backing piece is from a pack of papers that were free with a UK card magazine, and the smaller, central piece is from one of their free digi downloads.  The strips are also pieces of the same papers cut very thinly.  The lovely flower stamp is Memory Box Drift Flowers and each of the tiny little heads has a little dab of Cotton Candy Stickles; the rolled flowers were also cut from the same RR paper with Memory Box dies, they have some Crystal Stickles on them.  The slider die is by ProvoCraft and the sentiment  is from a Kathryn White clear set, stamped in Martha Stewart pigment ink, as was the flower image.  All of the paper and card pieces were edged with DI Victorian Velvet.
