I’m up to my usual trick to beat the heat again today (93F), and that’s to make Christmas cards.   I found a great sketch from Dawny P on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge and those lovely ladies of  Winter Wonderland have a really cool and funky colour challenge for us…. pink/purple with either aqua or green!  Try working that into a Christmas card, lol!  This is what I came up with.

Told you it was funky!  I went with a bit of both the pink and purple but decided against the green.  The image is Penny Black, stamped in ColorBox Q Royal Silk and clear embossed.  It was mounted on aqua and purple card and I added a few purple gems for good measure.  The large backing piece is from a Kate Knight free paper pad, the purple piece is Memory Box Viola; the blue Robin’s Egg Bazzill was embossed using a Provo Craft embossing folder.  The sentiment was stamped with the same ColorBox ink and is from a Fiskars set.
