Although that really should be J for Joel! After having bypassed him for a number of years I’ve now fallen completely in love with him and this is his second outing in the last week. No doubt you’ll be seeing more of him!
i used the lovely sketch at Papertake Weekly but mirrored it, as otherwise Joel would have been looking in the wrong direction, or maybe that’s why his name isn’t on the list of Santa’s reindeer! Perhaps he’s not the smartest reindeer in the herd!
The image was coloured with Prisma’s, with a bit of Liquid Pearls on the holly berries, Joel’s nose and tail. The text stamp is Hero Arts, stamped in Versamagic Red Magic (for some reason it looks pink, but it isn’t); and the pine fronds are from Inkadinkado, stamped in Memento Cottage Ivy with Crystal Stickles added to them.
The papers are DCWV, the ribbon is from Michael’s and the little pine fronds were punched from The Paper Company card.
You might have noticed that I’ve started using watermarks on my cards, I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, especially as I have found some of them turning up on Pinterest recently. Anyway, I made up a few of them, and thought this little Rudolph one was rather apt for todays card!!
