Wow, where did the week go. ****Stop Press**** It’s raining! Ya know what that means??? It’s not snowing!!!
My desk this week looks scarily tidy but I’ve been busy beavering away and got a few cards made since your last visit, but it doesn’t look like it at all. I’ve pulled out some sequin waste to try and think about a birthday card for a 19yr old young man, but that’s as far as it’s got. I was thinking about using it as a template for a rainbow swirl kind of thing with a number of brightly coloured inks.
I’ve actually put the three cards I’ve made recently on the desk for a bit of interest!! As always, Julia has all the details about this wonderful weekly desk hop.
Hi Brenda – what a lovely clean and tidy space! That craft mat looks pristine!!! Hope it has a rainbow of inks on it now though! Have a great week and happy WOYWW to you from Helen 61 x
Your desk is very tidy. I’m impressed. And you’ve made cards. Woo hoo!

Crumbs Brenda – send those tidying fairies over here right now!
Happy WOYWW honey.

Wow that tidy desk is a bit nerve wracking, you take it easy ok. Glad to hear it has stopped raining. Lovely cards

Happy WOYWW
Sequin waste…bliss – I used to love using it with the kids at school. It’s not waste at all, it’s wonderful!
Hmm, your tidy desk has me slightly worried actually…are you ok?
If I moved abroad, the changing seasons of the UK countryside would the the thing I’d miss…I can’t tell you how happy I am when I walk around noting the changes around and there’s lots at the moment. And so many birds whizzing around, all industrious and loved up!
Hugs. LLJ 39 xx
Rain is always a pleasant change from snow I will give you that!
How super tidy are you? Mine is still relatively tidy although it does have some bits and pieces on today to put away!
Love those cards you have made, you have been busy!
have a great week!

Those cards are really lovely. Thanks for visiting our desk earlier today. 🙂
Great cards, Brenda. You’ve been busy! Such a neat desk – fancy a visit to wales to put mine to rights?!
Take care,

I wish I could click on the photo to get a closer look! Your desk looks tidy, but to me the better word is “INVITING!” It is waiting for you, baby! Get in there and mess it up with your sensational cards!! Glad to hear it is only raining, Brenda, and not bloody snowing!! Oh, is it wrong to use that word? I can never keep it straight. I hope the rain ends by the weekend and you get lots of sunshine and spring breezes!! Hugs, Darnell
Your cards are very pretty — looks like some lovely stamping, pretty patterned paper and nice designs as well. Those stamps with the little mice are so sweet — I always ooh and ah over them, but haven’t bought any yet. Thanks for visiting me already and happy WOYWW! ~ Laura #67
Great cards – not sure if I am pleased for you that it’s raining rather than snowing today… hope you get the 19year old’s card done, it sounds a challenge to me! Thanks for stopping by already. Helen 8
Such pretty cards on your desk, love the Christmas one.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the nice comments about my kaleidoscope cane.
Happy Woyww,

Gorgeous cards and seriously tidy desk. Thanks for popping by. I’m afraid I have a bit of a thing for storage and always up for loads of fun and laughter, we would have a fabulous time, food for thought…. Happy to share ideas always, have a great week.

You have some lovely cards on your desk. I don’t envy you making a card for a teen boy. Double whammy! And of course, I call sequin waste punchinella, and end up having to explain what it means (grin). Happy WOYWW from #2.
Oh ya see, I thought you had a patterned mouse mat…That’s the widest sequin waste I’ve ever seen…how funny that you have an idea in your head and fail to recognise the product any other way! You’re right about scarey tidy, but it’s OK, it’s you, and I love you for it. Spiffing cards, the mice are lovely – love the biggened cupcake!
Only to happy to come and help sort things out, must do some shopping though, always wanted to go to michaels and hobby lobby so I would have to come with empty suitcases lol Be prepared I like to have fun……
Hugs Eliza
I am definitely happy for you that it is not snowing. Spring like weather here but I understand that next week we get another cold front. Your desk is so neat – really neat!! Wonderful cards to keep you company.
Keep on knitting cause you know that one day the snow will return!

Hi Brenda. Thanks for visiting – yes, someone HAS indeed knitted a wedding dress before. They only showed me the picture a few weeks ago. Very 1960’s style – but beautiful. I did knit myself a dress once – many years ago – for my Duke of Edinburgh award. I did knitting as a hobby for one of the sections – made socks and turned a heel, too – at age 16!!
Have fun
