Hello All and welcome to another challenge at Sparkles Christmas.  The winners and Top 3 from last month have been posted, pop over and see if it was you!  The lovely Deb’s chose our theme for this month, and it’s to create A Winters Scene.  So get you thinking caps on and join us.  We’re sponsored again by the wonderful Marianne Designs:

For my card this month I did something I mean to do every year, and that is to recycle a card that was bought and sent to us.  I liked this scene a lot and I like traditional colours for Christmas too, so I stayed with the red and green.

Everything for this card was either offcuts/snippets, recycled or pre-cut and in my little tin ready to go!  The papers are DCWV, Raspberry Road and BoBunny; the snowflakes are JoyCrafts and Martha Stewart and the sentiment is by Penny Black.  The image was cut down from a Christmas card we received, edged with Distress Ink and embellished with Frosted Lace Stickles on the snow around the door and at the carolers feet.  The little holly leaves are from Memory Box but I used tiny red gems for berries instead of the teeny tiny red berries that the die cut as they’re so incredibly tiny that I couldn’t work with them.

The inside uses up some more snippets and a Stampendous sentiment.
