Yes it is, but fear not, the lovely Scrappy Mo will be taking over next year for we can keep making our Christmas cards and keep playing along each month. We have to make two cards each month, so I’m setting the bar high for this final challenge with Sarn as I made more than two… just!
Have a look at this lot, lol! Just call me Miss Over-Achiever 2014!
Simple cards made with a large Hero Arts script cling stamp, stamped in Distress Inks in Festive Berries and Evergreen Bough, covered with Versmark ink and heat embossed with Holographic embossing powder and then cut into four pieces.
Each piece was backed with coordinating card that had been edge punched in a festive theme and popped on to a small size card blank. Like many folks I have lots of little bought embellishments that I rarely touch these days, what with the advent of all the wonderful dies and things, so I took the opportunity to use a few of them up.
I repeated the set using small kraft card blanks this time and I’m really happy how they came out. They were made over a couple of weekends, with the stamping and embossing done last weekend and the putting together done this weekend, but overall they didn’t take long to make.

I love these Brenda. Simple layouts with stamping, embossing and pretty embellishments . . . they work a treat.
I DARE not call you “Miss Over-Achiever 2014” after calling you “demanding” the other day for fear of reprisals! LOL!
Thanks for playing along with Rudolph Day.
Hugs, Sarn xxx

Wonderful cards, Brenda! Lovely design, and I love the punched borders
I really like these…proves that simple is effective! Love the punched borders too, and clever idea to use up that stash of embellies. Hope you don’t mind if I ‘case’? xxx
Plain and simple and perfect cards, love them, don’t really read other comments but as I scrolled down it stopped at Mrs A’s “love those dripping icicles” so I had images of Pork fat dripping, 9if you know what that is) on the card.
