The challenge this week was to use one of two sketches supplied by DT member Nat. I chose Sketch One, and this is what I came up with…. yes, another Christmas Card!!! It’s simple really. All of the Penny Black Stamps that I own so far are all of the Christmas variety, that and the fact that with fresh snow on the ground, it now feels more seasonal than it did in the run up to the big day itself. So Christmas it is then.
The odd thing is that the black spines on the hedgie are really prominent on the photos, but they’re not that dark and harsh IRL! I think the camera has picked up on the glitter pen I was using. Papers are from a new DCWV stack that I bought in the clearance event right after Christmas in the craft stores here. It’s a 12″ x 12″ paper stack of 180 Christmas sheets and I got it reduced to $10 (about 6 pounds), so I couldn’t pass it up. The “ribbon” is actually some bits of raffia that came off a gift at some point.
