Great theme this week over at my favourite challenge blog, a Christmas theme of Let It Snow, and I’ve already got two cards ready for it!! This first one is definitely a Christmas Card, although there’s no sign of snow so I hope that’s OK! The next one, that I’ll blog about another day, definitely has quite a bit of the white stuff on it, more than enough to make up for the lack of it on here.
Another lovely bright and sunny late Autumn day for us in Michigan and we’ve been out making the most of it. We spent a good part of the day at Hidden Lake Gardens, having a bracing woodland walk and then a wonderful (and warm) mooch around the hothouse domes where there are still lots of wonderful things in flower, but more on that another day too. The sun has made taking a card photo a little difficult and it’s made the embossing look a bit odd and pock marked, like a bad case of acne of something!!
The ribbon is a very pale gold and matches the swirl stamp on the left and the gold pearls. The swirl is from an TPC Studio clear set, stamped directly on to the Bazzil card in an Inkadinkado Ink Spot in Old Gold. The DP is a free download from Two Peas and the blue cardstock is from The Paper Company. The snowflake corner punch is from Fiskars.

Now, as you can imagine, Christmas themed challenges have suddenly become quite popular now that we’re in to November and there’s only 48 days left to the big day! Scary huh?? So, I shall also be entering this in the following Christmas themed challenges too:
Critter Challenge Blog – This is a new one to me, but as I have a LOT of “critter” stamps I’m glad I found it.
