Now that’s a sound of joy if I ever heard one! Quick post from me today, I’m back with a card for a few challenges I like to enter, and another completed Christmas card for the pile. This one is I think an Elzybells stamp that I bought used from a friend in England, it was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and glittered with Martha Stewart fine glitter and some Frosted White and Yellow Stickles.
The papers ar all out of the scrap box, the dotty piece is DCWV and the snowflake piece is The Paper Studio Rustic Snowflakes the backing card is kraft and Bazzil and is also offcuts. The snowflakes are two MS punches, and I discovered that I’d previously stamped the blue card with a Penny Black image in blue ink that hadn’t stamped well, but I like the effect of that on the snowflakes so I used that side of them instead of the plain, uninked side.
I generated the sentiment on the computer.

Very cute. You must have quite a pike of Christmas cards now. We had another 3-4″, two big branches fell and its still snowing. Does march mean spring?

What a gorgeous card Brenda! I so love the image and your great colouring.
I’m on the fence here (it’s a bit uncomfortable too), lol!! The stamp might JUST be an Elzybells one, possibly called Penguin and Eskimo on Sled (one sold on eBay a while back but the piccie isn’t there to prove it’s the same). I did wonder when you’d spotted what you thought were Whimsy stamps on my WOYWW desk the other week – ‘cos they were all Elzybells, but possibly very similar. Whatever, you have a real little treasure there B – LOVE it!! Hang onto it – could be worth a bob or three in the future!!

Di again – yup, just realised why I had such a strong instinct about the stamp. I’ve got juggling eskimo plus the penguin giving a gift to the little eskimo – ack, both never used! We do have very similar tastes!!
