Well, it was on the 25th February. That’s they day when we try to make a Christmas card or two in anticipation of heading off the panic of the impending big day, you know, that feeling that sets in in early December when you realise you’re going to have to work 30 hours a day in order to get all of your Christmas cards made! Or possibly resort to buying them!
I came over all Scandinavian and went with a mostly red and white theme for this one…
Right, the backing paper is all digital and came out of the Christmas scrap box, can’t recall where I got the larger piece from, but the red/white snowflakes were a free Mad About Cards download from yonks ago. The red and white card are The Paper Company offcuts.
The image is Penny Black Winter Glitter and I partly coloured it in with a Whispers red pen, there’s a tiny bit of Frosted Lace Stickles on there too but it’s barely showing up, the gems however, are showing up nicely. Ribbon is from Michaels but it got a bit frayed unfortunately! The LO is what is required this week over at PBSC.
Card Recipe:
- Card: Blank from Michaels ~ The Paper Company
- DP: All digital scraps
- Stamp: Penny Black Winter Glitter
- Ink: Stampology Rouge ~ Versafine Black
- Embellies: Gems and Ribbon from Michaels ~ Frosted Lace Stickles ~ Prima Poinsettia Flower ~ Snowflake Brad from JoAnns
- Tools: Cuttlebug ~ Snowflake Embossing Folder ~ McGill Punch

Really pretty card. i have been very impressed with the quality of digi backing papers that I have downloaded. Both freebie and paid for. Arm chair shopping is a breeze. Would have been round sooner but for the incident with the pogo stick.
Hugs Mrs A.
