Well, here we are again, Wednesday snoop time once more.  This time I hang my head in shame, you visited me in your thousands last week (slight exaggeration perhaps!!), and I visited….. 4 desks!  Sorry, busy, busy, busy again, but at least business Pt1 is over and I have a slight breather of about 10 days until business Pt2 arrives, in the mean time, I intend to visit lots of desks to make up for last week!

Can you believe we went to another 50th birthday party on Sunday too?  A good friend of ours was celebrating and I’d completely forgot that he is the exact same age as my husband, so that’s two 50ths and one 60th that we’ve celebrated in the space of 16 days!  I’m about partied out I tell you.  We went along to his surprise party (he was almost overwhelmed actually) intending to stay for about two hours as it started at 4pm on Sunday afternoon, and we ended up locking the place up and being the last to leave!  Due entirely to the fact that our other really good friend came in from California for the party, we haven’t all been together like that for the best part of 8 years so there was a lot of catching up to do as a little group.  What a great evening we had.

So this was my desk on Saturday I think it was, or maybe Sunday morning, I really have no clue!!  I haven’t seen it since then I know that much.  I was making a snippet Christmas card so the scrap boxes are on the table, the Christmas one is easy to spot as it has a large snowflake in there, and beneath that is the box of cardstock scraps.  The pieces chosen for the card are on the mat.

Towards the back, on the blue tin, is the Kraftin Kimmie image I’d coloured and cut out ready.  The three bottles of Stickles are brand new, Distress Stickles in a pack of three on clearance at Michaels for $3.79, the cling stamp on the acrylic block is also new and was also on sale at Mikes for 40% off, it a Hero Arts Clocks background stamps.  The little jar is white flock powder that I later adder to my image.  Right at the back by the glue gun are some sheets of tissue paper that I used to mop up some inky goodness from a stamp block, not wanting to waste some water spritzed ink on a stamp block I grabbed the paper to mop it up with.

And as I said before, I’ll definitely be visiting more of you this week than I did last, which let’s face it, wouldn’t be difficult now would it!!  Head on over to Julias for the details of the blog hop if you have no idea why I’m showing you my desk!
